Offshore HSE Specialist

Mark has over 16 years experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry which has seen him working as an HSE Adviser, Ballast Control Operator and Regional HSE Manager across 4 continents and on all types of offshore drilling rigs; Jack Ups, Barges, Semi Submersibles and Drillships.

In addition to an Honours Degree in International Business Management, NEBOSH (IGC), Safety Management Training, and an extensive array of safety related certifications; Mark also holds Ballast Control Operator and Bargemaster qualifications.

In 2011, he resigned from his position as Regional HSE Manager in West Africa to pursue a future as a consultant. With his extensive work and life experience, Mark is able to enhance the behavioural based safety culture of any facility he spends time on.

  • Most recent project: Offshore Rig Based Consultant HSE Supervisor for Shell/ Egypt Gas Joint Venture. Drilling and Completion of Gas Wells onboard Noble Globetrotter-1 and Valaris DS-7  (Mediterranean Sea, Egypt 2018 to 2020)
